Tarantula Panther is a Panther Claw kaijin that served as the main villain of episode 5.
Appearance[]
Tarantula Panther physically resembles her manga counterpart but has a few differences such as having light brown hair instead of black and her suit features yellow stripes in addition to the standard lined look.
Abilities and Powers[]
Tarantula Panther is able to hypnotize others by shooting beams out of her eyes. Like her manga counterpart, Tarantula Panther can shoot webs; but rather than through her abdomen, she shoots the threads through her fingers. She is also able to using the webbing for a human disguise. Tarantula Panther can even change her hair into flames.
History[]
Tarantula Panther stole an ancient egyptian crown for Panther Zora from an exhibit Honey was visiting, using her hypno-beams to put everyone to sleep. She retreated to a nearby magic show and disguised herself as a magician, cutting Junpei in half and then asking for a volunteer to play a marionett. The volunteer was Honey in disguise, but she easily saw through it and ensnared her in her web. Honey broke free and stabbed Tarantula Panther in the shoulder, but she gained the upper hand and tied her up in her webbing. Kidnapping Honey in the trunk of her car, she drove to an airport, followed by Danbei, and boarded a plane. She then tied up the pilots and disguised herself as one of them, surprising an egyptian disguise-wearing Honey. They fought on the plane after she put all the passengers to sleep, and Honey killed her two henchmen, one of whom accidentally shot out the plane's window. The air sucked Honey out to the plane's wing, and Tarantula Panther followed, tying her up in webbing, but then Honey surprised her by tossing her sword to her. She instinctively caught it, and at that moment a lightning bolt hit the plane, using the sword as a conductor, electrocuting Tarantula Panther and making her plummet to her doom.
