Ken Ishikawa (real name Kenichi Ishikawa) was a manga artist known for working under Go Nagai and as the creator of the Getter Robo story along with a couple other collaborations as well as a couple other manga series such as Maju Sensen. On 2006, Ishikawa passed away from heart failure at a banquet.
Ishikawa began his manga career as an assistant to Go Nagai often helping with some designs. He left Nagai's tutelage making adaptations of several series including Ultraman Taro and even Nagai's Cutie Honey. He later reentered Nagai's services in Dynamic Productions up until his death in 2006 which put some of his unfinished works on permanent hiatus.
